TV: Meet Philip Nelson

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Philip Nelson will not have to wait long to re-join the Big Ten. After leaving Minnesota for Rutgers in the offseason, the red-shirting quarterback discussed his transition to a new school and why Ralph Friedgen has what he wants in an offensive coordinator.

The Ralph Friedgen offensive scheme is right on the money with what quarterback Philip Nelson wanted when he left Minnesota.

The former Big Ten starting quarterback will be back in his old conference in three months, but needs to sit out one season because of transfer regulations.

Nelson spoke for the first time since his Rutgers enrollment Tuesday about his adjustments to a new school and why Rutgers is a great fit for him personally.
