"I think they were the second school to offer, so they showed a lot of interest early," said Cox head coach Billy Stachelski. "The fact that his dad is from New Jersey was probably a big factor. Also, the fact that it's not too far away and I think he was really impressed with the coaching staff. I think it's a really good fit."
According to his coach, Camper brings a lot to the table.
"They're getting a someone that's going to work and a guy who's a high-character kid," Stachelski said. "He's going to put the work in academically and on the football field. He still has a lot of potential. Blake is going to continue to get bigger and better."
How good can he be?"I think if he uses the gifts he's been given and keeps working, his potential is pretty limitless," Stachelski. "I've had a couple coaches tell me that they think he could play in the NFL."
