Union City (N.J.) High athlete Daiquan Kelly released his top four on Monday, tweeting a list of Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Syracuse in no particular order. Each school is on the three-star talent's list for a specific reason.
Michigan State: "The school itself. They have a great team and a great defense."
Pittsburgh: "The fact that I went down there and my mom liked it. My sister's had a great time."
Rutgers: "The fact that the coaches stay in touch and it's close to home. My family could see me play."
Syracuse: "Same with Syracuse that they're close to home. When I went down there with my coach and my two teammates we had a great time down there. It was amazing."
Kelly added that each school is in touch on a regular basis, including the Orange who talk to him every day. He says that type of communication means a lot. It shows him that they care about him as more than just a football player.
Visits wise, Kelly will go to Syracuse for the second time on Sunday and plans to visit Michigan State in August. The trip to East Lansing will be his first. He plans to make a decision after that trip.
UPDATE: Tuesday late morning, Kelly tweeted that he will be making his decision this coming weekend. He will visit Syracuse on Sunday and will be on the Rutgers campus for a 7-on-7 tournament on Saturday.
