PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Football returned to Rutgers in style Aug. 1 for the first practice of 2014 training camp. Rutgers coach Kyle Flood met with the media after the two-hour session to break down early impressions from the field.
The majority of the Rutgers roster hit the field Friday afternoon for the start of training camp.
Getting back players like Paul James, Chris Muller and Leonte Carroo, the Scarlet Knights brought high energy to the start of camp, said coach Kyle Flood.
Flood detailed the injury returns, and also discussed quarterback and cornerback position battles, during a six-minute interview session after practice.
