TV: Flood Talks Semi-Scrimmage

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The first day of pads led to a high-energy practice for Rutgers on day five of training camp. After practice, coach Kyle Flood spoke with the media with the latest injury updates and impressions from a semi-scrimmage on the practice fields.

Ruhann Peele is out indefinitely with an upper body injury, and will miss the opener against Washington State.

Along with Peele, Rutgers coach Kyle Flood gave the latest on injuries in the secondary, at running back and on the defensive line.

The first semi-scrimmage for Rutgers included two big plays from wide receiver Leonte Carroo, including a touchdown to cap off the final drive of the day.

Flood offered his take on the scrimmage and more after the conclusion of practice.
