TV: Flood Previews Second Scrimmage

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers is set for its second and final camp scrimmage with just a Friday walkthrough in the way. Getting ready for Saturday night's "dress rehearsal," head coach Kyle Flood spoke more in-depth about the Justin Goodwin position change, confidence in Desmon Peoples and more.

It would have been overturned on a challenge, but it counted on the field when converted cornerback Justin Goodwin made an athletic interception in first-team duties Thursday.

Goodwin matched up against junior Leonte Carroo and picked off Gary Nova in just his second practice as a defensive back since high school. Head coach Kyle Flood addressed the improvements made, and expectations for Goodwin after practice.

Flood also offered insights on a possible platoon position at punter, confidence in running back Desmon Peoples and the development of Kemoko Turay at defensive end.
