PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Freshman long snapper Alan Lucy earned a starting position before his first career college practice. The Rutgers specialist spoke with ScarletReport.com Sunday about his early expectations and getting ready for Washington State.
It took Alan Lucy all of two hours to commit after receiving an offer, and as much time in training camp to earn the starting Rutgers long snapper job.
Lucy received an offer from head coach Kyle Flood and committed on his way home from a January official visit. Lucy is two months into his Rutgers career and two weeks away from starting against Washington State at the home of the Seattle Seahawks.
Lucy discusses high expectations for himself and his pride to be a Scarlet Knight with ScarletReport.com.
