Flood Talks Major Changes at Cornerback

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers coach Kyle Flood got a boost at cornerback Monday with the return of three players from injury. Flood discussed the changes at the position at the end of Monday's double session and offered thoughts on the film from the final scrimmage.

It did not take long for Dre Boggs to make his presence known after returning to practice from a lower body injury. Boggs picked off a pass in the end zone during 11-on-11 drills and returned it to the house the other way.

Along with Boggs, Rutgers welcomed back Nadir Barnwell, who was on crutches for last week's open fan practice.

The returns at the position will not change the status of sophomore Justin Goodwin, who is expected to start the opener according to coach Kyle Flood.
