Goodwin Goes 1-on-1 About Staying at CB

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Even with Dre Boggs back in practice, Justin Goodwin is staying at cornerback and the one-time Rutgers running back spoke about now playing on defense.

Justin Goodwin ran for 521 yards on 111 carries, and rushed for five touchdowns as a freshman and was No. 2 on the depth chart in training camp.

However, a move to cornerback was necessitated when Dre Boggs was injured earlier in camp, but even with Boggs back, Goodwin is there and flourishing.

Scarlet Knights coach Kyle Flood said Goodwin is running with the first team and is in line to start the Aug. 28 opener at Washington State, and Goodwin went 1-on-1 with to discus it.
