Rescigno Takes in First Training Camp

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Quarterback Giovanni Rescigno finished his first college training camp this week as a Scarlet Knight. Rescigno spoke earlier in camp with ScarletReport.com about the adjustments to college football after being a one-year starter in high school.

The leap to Big Ten football is a significant change for true freshman Giovanni Rescigno at quarterback. He started as a senior in high school, and is now back at the bottom as the new guy on campus.

Rescigno spent his first training camp learning from older players and picking up what he can from offensive coordinator Ralph Friedgen. He discussed his first months in New Jersey with ScarletReport.com.
