Milewski, Longa Say Defense Must Improve

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Missed tackles, poor alignments and blown coverages lowlights Rutgers' defensive issues in a 38-25 win against FCS Howard.

Howard had more first downs than Rutgers (21 to 20), had 269 rushing yards and out-gained the Scarlet Knights 437-397.

And while some of those yards were against the second team defense as Rutgers beat Howard 38-25, there were plenty of receivers running free and loads of yards gained when the first defense was in the game.

Afterward, defensive end David Milewski and linebacker Steve Longa shared their thoughts on the performance.
