PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Considered the best quarterback in Rutgers history, now graduate assistant Mike Teel watched on with pride as his record set in 2008 fell to Gary Nova. The senior quarterback's four touchdowns put him ahead of Teel's 59 career as No. 1 in the Rutgers record books. Nova and Teel were both three-star recruits
Gary Nova did it in exciting fashion. Needing to throw three touchdowns to become the all-time leader at Rutgers, he put up four in the 31-6 victory over Tulane.

Nova sits at 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions through five games as a senior. He discussed the moment while in the locker room after the win.
Teel, who is in his first year as a graduate assistant at Rutgers, discussed the record with pride.
