PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers receiver Leonte Carroo had another big game, hauling in three touchdown passes in a 31-6 defeat of Tulane, and afterward he spoke about the performance.
Leonte Carroo is the go-to receiver for quarterback Gary Nova, and that proved to be the case again Saturday as Rutgers beat Tulane 31-6 at High Point Solutions Stadium.
As Nova set the school record for career touchdown passes (61), Carroo was front and center. Carroo finished seven catches for 140 yards and three touchdowns.
After the game, Carroo spoke about Nova, who is his former high school quarterback, as well as his own performance.
