Carroo Welcomes Saturday Spotlight

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers receiver Leonte Carroo found himself on the receiving end of major media attention after another three-touchdown performance. Carroo took to it in stride and described why he enjoys the spotlight in big games. The junior also reacted to the upcoming matchup with high school teammate Jabrill Peppers and two special guest reporters in the Monday sit-down setting.

The video bomb is common when Rutgers players await their own questions from the media. Leonte Carroo got it twice during a sit-down with the media heading into Michigan kickoff.

Along with questions about Jabrill Peppers, Michigan and his three-touchdown game against Tulane, Carroo received one about the tightness of his shirt.

The questioner happened to be senior quarterback captain Gary Nova, who joined in the interview session with junior captain Darius Hamilton. Focused on being 1-0 this week, the Don Bosco trio made sure to enjoy the extra attention brought on by the big game between Rutgers (4-1, 0-1) and Michigan (2-3, 0-1).
