The Headline -- Rutgers is 19.5-point underdogs to the Buckeyes, but have a tremendous chance to showcase the program on ABC at 3:30. Expecting to see an enemy crowd of more than 100,000 fans at “the Horseshoe,” the Scarlet Knights will do what they can to prepare.
“For us it's an opportunity to be 1 0 this week,” Flood said. “Nationally televised games are not new for us. The fact that it's on ABC I think is great. I think it's an opportunity for maybe more people to get a little bit of a snapshot into what our program is and the kind of people we have in our program. But I don't think that has any effect on the game.”
Rutgers is undefeated in road games dating back to UCF last season, but that comes to the test against an Ohio State team averaging 51 points per game over its last three.
Worth Noting -- Starting center Betim Bujari is questionable for Ohio State, which makes Derrick Nelson and Chris Muller as co-backups during the week. Muller has no center experience, but split reps Sunday. Should Muller get the nod, red-shirt freshman Dorian Miller projects to take on the right guard spot.
Quote of the Day -- “We’re in the business of winning championships here, and this is just another stop along the way. It just happens to be Ohio State this week, and we’re ready to go out there and perform.”
On the Other Side -- Does the bye week come at a bad time for both schools? Both Rutgers and Ohio State, with the Buckeyes putting up more than 50 points for three straight games. OSU coach Urban Meyer told Scout.com that momentum could be taken away with a week off.

Now sit back and take in Flood’s press conference.
