Milewski Approaching Senior Day

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The last month has been a rough one for the Rutgers defense, but defensive end David Milewski sees an opportunity to bounce back against Indiana. After being honored on senior day before kickoff, the fifth-year senior captain hopes to lead the defense to an improved showing with better execution of the Rutgers game plan.

In what is likely the final home game in David Milewski's career -- he could apply for a sixth based on injuries -- he wants to see his defense simply play better.

The rough three-game stretch, including back-to-back-to-back Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week awards for opponents, is not how Milewski wants to be remembered.

Rutgers (5-4, 1-4) put extra emphasis on Indiana during the bye week, and Milewski broke down what he saw from an energy standpoint in the final day of media availability before game week. Milewski also touched on considerations for a sixth year and upcoming senior day honors.
