Jack Returns with Season Starting Sunday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- It was a lighter post-practice with Rutgers coach Eddie Jordan with the start to the season coming this weekend. Jordan addressed the latest with his Scarlet Knights, including Kadeem Jack's Sunday status and a special visit from former New Jersey Net Kerry Kittles.

Kadeem Jack is a game-time decision for the Rutgers season opener, but showed another positive sign Thursday in his return to practice.

The senior forward and team captain (thumb) took almost a full load in practice, and will play against George Washington if things feel OK over the next three days, said coach Eddie Jordan.

Jordan and Rutgers turn their attention to GW this week after a solid exhibition showing against Baruch College. Jordan and Rutgers also enjoyed a special visitor Thursday in former New Jersey Nets impact guard Kerry Kittles. Kittles played under Jordan during his time in the Meadowlands.
