FS Aiken Heads to Final Home Game

Johnathan Aiken's home career at Rutgers concludes Saturday against Indiana. Looking to attend his fourth bowl game in as many years, Aiken has his sights set on a bounce-back victory after losing three straight in the heart of Big Ten play. Speaking 1-on-1 with ScarletReport.com, Aiken talked his career, including his relationship with former recruiting coordinator Tariq Ahmad.

Johnathan Aiken was sad to see Tariq Ahmad go in the offseason, and is happy to have him in the stands for homecoming. Ahmad, who took a job with the San Francisco 49ers, became close with Aiken during his time as recruiting coordinator at Rutgers. With the 49ers in town, Ahmad will be there for Aiken's final home game and senior day.

Aiken came to Rutgers as a cornerback before his move to safety and eventual spot as a Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. Aiken earned the honor in his first game as a senior with big plays in a 41-38 victory over Washington State.
