Liston Headed Home vs. Michigan State

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Backup linebacker L.J. Liston arrived at Rutgers, after a semester in prep school, from Michigan. Facing Michigan State Saturday, Liston gets the chance to play in his home state as a Big Ten football player. After becoming bowl eligible against Indiana, Liston spoke 1-on-1 with Scout.com about his sophomore season and upcoming homecoming.

L.J. Liston continues his special teams role as the backup to Kevin Snyder at middle linebacker.

Whatever his role against Michigan State, it will be a special moment when Liston takes the field as a Big Ten football player in his home state.

Liston grew up in nearby Flint, Mich., and has plenty of ticket requests out when the Scarlet Knights face the Spartans.
