Tuesday marked a big morning for Rutgers basketball, formally announcing three new Scarlet Knights during the early signing period.
"We are very excited to welcome these three young men into our basketball family,” said coach Eddie Jordan in a statement. “They each possess a special skill set that will help us build a winning program. Competing in the Big Ten is very challenging. It’s essential to have players that not only have the ability to compete at a high level, but the drive and enthusiasm to attack the process. We believe Corey, Kejuan and Justin have these important qualities.”
Sanders is the highest rated prospect to sign with Rutgers since Mike Rosario.
Johnson and Goode, post-graduate teammates at Hargrave Military Academy, committed in the same week after Nov. 2 official visits.
The Scarlet Knights now turn their attention to one more piece in the class and the continuation of 2016 recruiting.
