Flood Somber in Post-Game Press Conference

EAST LANSING, Mich. – An irritated Kyle Flood took the podium at Michigan State after another blowout against a Big Ten foe. Following the 45-3 loss, Flood answered questions about losing in blowout fashion.

Rutgers coach Kyle Flood blamed the 45-3 loss on a failure to establish rhythm in the first half. Flood took questions on multiple blowout losses and inconsistent effort, but pointed multiple times to the effort showed by his players in the second half.

Rutgers (6-5, 2-5) goes into the final game of the regular season with a 36-point average deficit in its five losses.
