PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- It was a rusty albeit effective season debut for Kadeem Jack, who missed nearly three weeks of practice with a right thumb injury. Jack scored 13 points and grabbed five boards in his return to the court, beating St. Francis Brooklyn 76-73 at the RAC.
Rutgers forward Kadeem Jack is happy to be back on the court after two games on the sidelines with a thumb injury.
Jack gave Rutgers (2-1) a solid 26 minutes and 13 points from his forward position. Down the stretch, Jack's game-tying put-back with 46 seconds left set up the game-winning free throws from Myles Mack.
Jack spoke with the media for the first time since his injury in the Rutgers locker room after the game.
