Waters Heading Home at Maryland

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Lorenzo Waters gets his final regular season game close to home, playing at nearby Maryland. The fifth-year senior safety lobbied teammates for tickets over the last two weeks, and has higher expectations for himself against the Terrapins after personal struggles against Michigan State and Indiana.

Lorenzo Waters knows he needs to play better. As a fifth-year senior and team captain, Waters holds himself accountable for poor play against the run in Big Ten play.

Waters has two more opportunities for redemption, starting Saturday in College Park, Md. Waters played his high school ball at nearby Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha. He knows the Maryland campus well, and has a strong supporting cast set to see him play his final regular season game.
