Emotional Jordan: I Love My School

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Anyone that follows college basketball knows the situation in which Eddie Jordan took over the Rutgers basketball program two years ago. Following a 67-62 upset over No. 4 Wisconsin and storming of the court, things got emotional for the former Rutgers player.

Eddie Jordan could not hold back the emotion after the first win over a top-five opponent in Rutgers basketball history.

When asked about what a home win over No. 4 Wisconsin means for his school, Jordan gave an honest and emotional response.

"I'm just happy for our community," Jordan said, before emotions took over. "... We've suffered, and I'm just happy for the state, our faculty, everybody that supports me, our fans. Hopefully this is part of the healing process that we have to go through, and the process that we've talked about. I love my school. I love this community, and I'm happy for them."
