Rutgers Basketball Reflects on MLK Day

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a day of celebration for all Americans, and it is no different for the Rutgers basketball team. As the Scarlet Knights prepare for their Tuesday night clash with Michigan, players and coach Eddie Jordan reflected on the significance and appreciation of the holiday.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was business as usual for the Rutgers basketball team in its first year as Big Ten members.

After practice, however, coach Eddie Jordan, team captain Kadeem Jack and other Scarlet Knights spoke with Scout about the significance of Dr. King's words and actions on their lives.
