Eddie Jordan Remembers Dean Smith

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers coach Eddie Jordan considers himself a follower of the examples set by legendary North Carolina head coach Dean Smith. Jordan commented on Smith's passing after a loss to Ohio State Sunday, and described the characteristics he admired in one of the all-time greats of college basketball.

Rutgers coach Eddie Jordan admired Dean Smith's example as a college basketball coach, and heard nothing but positive reviews from assistant Mike O'Koren, who played for Smith.

After a 79-60 loss to Ohio State Sunday evening, Jordan commented on Smith's passing and his basketball legacy.
