PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Chris Muller represents half of the Rutgers football team's returning starters on its offensive line, and has heavy leadership responsibilities in spring practice. The right guard and potential starting center discussed his role in spring, the departure of close friend Betim Bujari, talent development and ... of course ... Wrestlemania.
After a Wrestlemania team watch party went off successfully Sunday night, it was time for Rutgers football and junior lineman Chris Muller to get to work.
Rutgers practiced for the first of 15 times Monday -- the first time without departing senior linemen Kaleb Johnson, Betim Bujari and Taj Alexander. Muller worked at both center and guard during the first practice, and he discussed both roles in a conversation with Scout.
The pride of Boyertown (Pa.) also has the inside scoop on which red-shirt freshman could be the man to watch in spring.
