Rutgers coach Kyle Flood broke down awards for Nick Arciacono, J.J. Denman and Saquan Hampton for a strong spring and recapped camp with the media.

More importantly, Flood discussed Ray Rice's return to Rutgers and a message given to the team before the spring game.

"I reached out to Ray," Flood said. "I thought that we had an opportunity for Ray to give a very important message to our players, and he did that today. What was the message? The message was very simple. You can do a lot of great things in your life. You can do a lot of charitable work in the cities you're working in, but if you make the wrong decision, you're going to have to be accountable for that. Ray made a wrong decision. He's held himself accountable to it. He's paid the price for it, and I thought today was an opportunity for him to deliver a message to try to prevent to try to prevent one of our young people from doing that in the future."
