Scarlet Conversation: Commit Solomon Manning

COLONIA, N.J. -- Rutgers coach Kyle Flood wants the best players in New Jersey to play in state. That was the message sent to top middle linebacker in the state -- Solomon Manning of Colonia (N.J.). Scout visited with Manning the day after his Rutgers commitment for the breakdown of his decision and what comes next.

After a Syracuse camp and recent North Carolina offer for Solomon Manning, the Colonia (N.J.) High three-star middle linebacker faced a tough decision.

Manning could commit to Rutgers during a Monday visit, or explore more options throughout the summer.

Manning chose New Jersey.
