Rutgers made every cut on Harmon’s list so far, and hosted him for the third time this summer during today’s practice. Harmon remains set on official visits before a decision, but said the Scarlet Knights impressed yet again.
“I feel like it was good,” Harmon said. “It didn’t hurt and didn’t necessarily help because I’m still considering Rutgers.”
Harmon spent time at practice with the offensive coaching staff. He also met athletic director Julie Hermann. Next Level Greats 7-on-7 coach Marcus Hammond accompanied Harmon on the visit.
“I got to look at the offense they run up close,” Harmon said. “I liked that because it’s very similar to an NFL offensive, which would be an easier transition.”
Harmon spoke with coach Kyle Flood before the return home to South Jersey.
“[He] told me how they still want me,” Harmon said. “Nothing changed and I could come play.”
Harmon has official visits set to N.C. State and South Carolina before a decision.
“Playing close or away [from home] isn’t really a big deal,” Harmon said.
