Rutgers Week 2 Starters and Injury Updates

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood released the latest on the injury front and his projected starters for Washington State week before his Labor Day press conference. Flood formally listed Chris Laviano as his starting quarterback and updated the latest on the injury front.

Chris Laviano is in line for his first career start Saturday when Washington State visits Rutgers. Flood made the formal announcement Monday when he released the depth chart. Also notable is the addition of new true freshmen to the two deep including FB/TE Anthony Folkerts and cornerback Ronnie James.

On the updated injury report, Flood upgraded safety Kiy Hester to questionable and listed captain Darius Hamilton as out for the second straigth week.
