Former Wisconsin running back Leon Hunt is used to wearing red in Camp Randall, but it will be a different kind on Saturday. The father of Rutgers safety Andre Hunt has 626 yards and six touchdowns to his name in four seasons at Wisconsin.
On Saturday, however, the Hunt family is all in with the Scarlet Knights.
"I've been to a lot of WIsconsin games as a kid, and it will be fun to actually play there instead of sitting in the stands," Hunt said.
Andre Hunt knows Wisconsin well after multiple visits as a youth. His advice to Rutgers (3-4, 1-3) teammates on their first visit, be ready.
"It's very loud," Hunt said. "The student section is very energetic there, the same thing with the fans. It's a big stadium. The big tradition that I haven't seen is the fourth-quarter tradition where they play Jump Around, which is always a fun thing to participate in.
A famous tradition in college football, Hunt would prefer a lead going into the fourth quarter.
"I've been to a couple of games where the other team is leading, and they'll actually be jumping around on their sideline, so I hope we get to do that," Hunt said.
