Chris Ash Announces Kenny Parker as Strength Coach

Rutgers coach Chris Ash announced a significant hire Friday afternoon in Kenny Parker as the head of strength and conditioning for the Scarlet Knights. The former national champion at Florida joins Ash's staff after three years as an Ohio State assistant.

Another Ohio State coach set passage for Rutgers when Chris Ash named Kenny Parker as his head of strength and conditioning. Parker replaces Jeremy Cole at the position and joins Rutgers after three years with the Buckeyes as an assistant.

"I am excited to welcome Kenny to Rutgers football program,” Ash said in a statement. “In our past two seasons together at Ohio State I have recognized Kenny’s tremendous work ethic and his ability to get the most out of our players. Having Kenny on staff will be a major asset as we work to build a team that is both physically tough and mentally prepared to compete in the Big Ten.”
