What could make Bergen Catholic TE Korab Idrizi commit to Rutgers?

Rutgers is suddenly on Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic tight end Korab Idrizi, who told Scout what it would take for him to commit to the Scarlet Knights.

New Rutgers coach Chris Ash wants to put a fence around New Jersey and keep talented players home, and tight end Korab Idrizi is turning into a marquee target.

Idrizi, who plays at national power Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic, received an important phone call from the Scarlet Knights, and set an official visit to campus for Jan. 22.

"Rutgers called me (Tuesday) and pretty much told me they were going to offer me," Idrizi said. "They just said they had to do a couple of background checks and stuff like that, and then they would offer me. I think they’re my No. 1 as of now."
