Offer Update

"Rutgers, I went to other camps and they were very interested. That included Florida and Miami."

Present Favorites

"My favorites is UM, then Rutgers and Florida. They are my top three."

Camp Notes

"I went to five camps. I had the 'most outstanding effort' at the Miami camp. I went as a tight end at Rutgers and they were very impressed. At Florida I was offensive tackle and tight end. I am not sure I want to be an offensive tackles. I want to be at the quicker position which would be tight end or defensive end, rather than offensive end. The Florida coach told me that I was an athlete. They told me that I could be an All America tight end or a first round draft pick at tackle."

On Rutgers

"Rutgers is a team on the rise. They do a lot of scouting in Miami. They have a lot of billboards in Miami, they have camps down here and it is impressive. On the other hand I don't know how the Miami and the Big East changes will affect the strength of the program. That's the scary thing. They say that the ACC will be a powerhouse for players that want to go to the NFL. With these changes the Big East will be looking for teams to add. I don't know how this will affect the popularity of the Big East. I don't know how it will affect their rating with the NFL. That is something important to me since I want to play football as a career. Rutgers is still one of my top three and I am hoping it all turns out for the best."

"My season got ended early due to a slightly separated shoulder. When I came back my coach told to just rest it up and play basketball. This will be my first full season of football. I did get an award at the Miami camp. I got the award the 'most outstanding effort.' I felt good about that since they had 500 players there."
