Rough Road Season Concludes for Rutgers Basketball at Northwestern

Rutgers is winless on the road under Eddie Jordan in 2015-16, and the final regular-season trip tips off Saturday at Northwestern. Potentially down again to six scholarship players, the Scarlet Knights enter their final game of Corey Sanders' two-week suspension.

Eddie Jordan is 3-30 in road games during his three-year tenure at Rutgers, and he yet again leads his team into battle as underdogs. At Northweestern Saturday for the regular-season road finale, Rutgers is again without star Corey Sanders and may miss banged-up center Greg Lewis for the second straight game.

Lewis (foot) missed the loss at Minnesota, and is nowhere near 100 percent during his final days in a Rutgers uniform. Without Lewis and Sanders, the remaining six scholarship players average just 6-foot-4 in height and 7.6 points per game.

Forwards Jonathan Laurent and D.J. Foreman represent the brightest performers for Jordan during a rough February. Laurent (19 and 15) and Foreman (13 and 11) both have double-doubles on record since the Sanders suspension.
