At 5-foot-11 and 228 pounds, running back Dwayne Jones ran for 953 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior last season. This year, he'll hope to do the same while maintaining the status of being one of New Jersey's top-rated running back prospects.
"Recruiting's going good right now," Jones said.
"Nebraska, Boston College, Virginia, and Rutgers have already offered me. [My favorites] right now, they would be Ohio State, Virginia, BC, Virginia Tech, and Nebraska. I'd say Ohio State and Virginia are my top two. I like their programs and I think I could fit in. Hopefully Ohio State will offer me."
According to a recent interview with HuskerConnection.com, Jones is in no
hurry to make a decision. If Ohio State does not offer, he plans on taking his
official visits to learn more about the schools that have offered him. He would
be a great addition to a school rich in New Jersey RB tradition.
