Sir Sebastian Joseph? Rutgers NT Discussing Knighting Ceremony, Playing Through Illness

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- A virus was not enough to stop Sebastian Joseph from proving himself to the Rutgers coaching staff Saturday during a scrimmage. The day ended for Joseph with a stripe removed from his helmet and declaration that he was "game ready."

A knighting ceremony for Sebastian Joseph was special, but it became even more impressive based on the sickness that took place before Saturday's scrimmage.

"I had a virus, I don't know how in the world I got it, so afterwards I went to the ER," Joseph said. "I just gutted through it you know, no big deal."

Joseph did not want sickness to keep him out of action.

"It's more for the love I have for the guys to the left and right of me, people like Darius [Hamilton], people like JPO (Julian Pinnix-Odrick), like Quanzell [Lambert]," Joseph said. "I know they'd do the same for me. I never want to let them down. We love each other."
