Chris Rutledge Profile
Chris Rutledge, 6-7, 278, 4.9, OL, Dr. Michael M. Krop HS Miami
This last time we talked to Chris he had an offer from Rutgers, now Wyoming has added an offer.
"Rutgers, Maryland, Pittsburgh, UF, Ohio State and Auburn. I am being recruited by all these schools. Recently Auburn starting recruiting me. They had stopped for a while but now they are back in the picture."
"I went to Ohio State, I want to UM. I went to Rutgers and Florida. I had a tour of Ohio State's campus and at Rutgers I also got a tour of the campus. At Rutgers, they singled me out to run special offensive line drills. I took that as an honor. I felt pretty good about that. Last year was my first year playing football. I had to learn technique but I think I got that down well. I really benefited from the camps. I felt I learned a lot and a lot that will benefit me as a college player."
"I have set up an official visit in December with Rutgers. I like their program, they didn't do that well last year but they are coming on. It is like my high school team we didn't have a good year last year but we were starting a lot of younger players. We'll do a lot better this year. I feel the same way about Rutgers they are a young team and they'll get better and better and I felt really comfortable up there."
Fine offensive line prospect who played football for the first time in 2002. Good frame and speed. Wants to major in business and minor in culinary arts in college on the way to owning a restaurant one day.
"I expect that I will be projected as an offensive tackle. I feel that I am a good pass blocker. At my school I play left tackle, I protect the blind side of the quarterback. I have the height and balance to play that position. "
