Quarterback Chris Laviano Reacts to Rutgers Blowout Loss

SEATTLE -- Rutgers quarterback Chris Laviano speaks after two turnovers and 168 yards in the debut of the spread offense, losing 48-13 at Washington.

Rutgers quarterback Chris Laviano on early fumble...

"We work on ball security a lot and I've just got to do a better job of taking care of the ball."

On quarterback pressure...

"I've got to get the ball out of my hand faster. I've got to help my linemen out. I think collectively it was just couldn't get it clicking in the first half."

On improving as the game went on...

"We were moving the ball. We just couldn't finish drives. ... I think everybody was kind of picking up the pace, doing their job a little bit better each and every drive but like I said, we just didn't finish."

On finding a rhythm...

"That's our whole offense. We need that pace. We need that moment. We need to execute our job better and take better control."

On crowd noise...

"I think we were fine adjusting to the atmosphere and everything. i think it came down to not executing and taking care of the ball as well as we needed to."
