Dunlap's also got a top five, a group of five schools that are some of the top schools in the nation. "[Miami], Florida, N.C. State, Florida State, and Michigan are my five now," he said. "Every one of those but the Canes have offered. I still have my eyes open, though."
Dunlap also mentioned several other schools that have offered – and schools he still has some interest in. "After those schools, I've got Virginia Tech, Auburn, UNC, Iowa, Rutgers, and some more like Pittsburgh that have offered."
Does Dunlap have keen much interest in the Tech program? "Yeah they're a school I like and might visit," he said. "We had a player from Chaminade that went there to Tech. I was talking to the coach, the linebackers coach, and they seem like they've got a good program. I want to know more about it." Dunlap also mentioned that Tech is recruiting him as a linebacker.
For now, however, Dunlap will concentrate on his senior season. "We're lookin good, oh good," he said of his Chaminade squad. "We had a little jamboree [Thursday] and we beat them 30-something to zip. We shut them out and played basically a half. I had a bunch of interceptions as a linebacker."
Dunlap, who will play in his first
regular season game on the road next Friday, plans to take his time making his
