SIGNED: Liberty Defensive Tackle Jaohne Duggan is a Rutgers Scarlet Knight

Rutgers signs Bethlehem (Pa.) Liberty defensive tackle Jaohne Duggan.

Projected Position – Defensive Tackle

In His Words – “Man, I'm so excited to have this opportunity. I'm going to take full advantage of it. I like the conference (Big Ten). I like the competition there. I really like the coaches, and I like the environment over there. I like a lot of stuff at Rutgers."

Scouting the Scarlet Knight – “[Duggan] can be quick to get off the ball and, at times, moves very well for a player his size. He is strong in the lower body and while he needs to get stronger in the upper body, he is by no means weak. Duggan needs to learn more technique, but he plays a lot of defensive end in high school, so he uses more speed and a quick get-off at the snap of the ball to make plays. He will transition to defensive tackle in college.” – Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn.
