SIGNED: Burlington Township Wide Receiver Everett Wormley is a Rutgers Scarlet Knight

Burlington (N.J.) Township wide receiver Everett Wormley signed to play for Rutgers football.

Projected Position – Wide Receiver

From His Words – “Think about it if all of these guys stayed home and how we could be strong in the Big Ten. You don’t have to go somewhere else in the Big Ten or ACC. Being close to my family wasn’t a huge factor. Going far or close didn’t matter but the fact that I can have family and friends and my town support me is great. Like you said, there haven’t been many people to come out of Burlington and play big-time ball, so it’s an honor for them to witness me do it at home.”

Scouting the Scarlet Knight – “Wormley is clean getting into and coming out of his breaks. He plays fast and locates the ball well. He high-points the ball and has strong hands to make the catch. He knows how to set up defensive backs in his route running, and he can get behind a defense. He is at his best within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage because of his ability to get out of a break. He has good acceleration after the catch. When corners try to jam Worley, he his able to use his hands to get clear and up the field.” – Scout National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn.
