Knights Ranked No. 11 in Football Recruiting

Rugters is having an awesome football recruiting class, especially on the defensive side of the ball. One source, Student Sports, has the Knights right outside a Top 10 class! Here's this week's writeup talking about how we're doing...

11. RUTGERS (11) The Garden State maybe small in size, but New Jersey certainly produces its share of good football players. One of them is Hillsborough running back Danny Phillips, a 5-11, 190 pound athlete who can take it the distance anytime he touches the ball. The Scarlet Knights are looking good for Phillips right now and would like to get him in the fold before some bigger schools stumble upon this hidden gem. The Knights are likely going to get a trip from Orange (N.J.) defensive lineman Jason Alford, but they have a long way to go to catch up with Miami and Penn State for his pledge.
