Your feedback poll was 50:50 re: Army. Let me swing it to the negative. I watched that game and was cringing. Maybe it is progress to play that badly and win, but it can't be good news to play that badly.

I had to write you about the
negative comment you got from that guy. You can post it if you want, but it's up
Nowhere does it say on your page that you're a propaganda mouthpiece for Rutgers and the football team. The title of your site is RutgersInsider.com and that's exactly what you provided in your brief but informative breakdown of the Army game. As someone who lives far away and didn't get to see the game, I want to know all about the good, bad and ugly -- and I would be very disappointed if you didn't give me your honest, informative opinion about each. Your job isn't to get people to come out to the games or paint things through rose colored glasses -- that kind of criticism goes back to the moronic argument that the Star Ledger needs to be more positive despite RU having, what, one winning season in the past 20 years? -- your "job" is to tell us what's good and bad with RU football.
I tell you one thing, the critique of the game gives me a lot of hope because I think RU hasn't come close to playing to its best game. I got to watch the Michigan State game at a local sports bar and I've got to tell you that I came away somewhat disappointed because for the first time in a long time I felt that RU was athletically on par or above a major opponent. It's just that RU's talent is young and it's just a matter of time before they put it all together. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later, but I'll still be rooting for them no matter what. And I'll still be wanting your honest opinion on the team.
