Offer Update

"No offers as of yet but West Virginia, Boston College and Princeton are talking a lot. My coaches are also talking to Syracuse, Kent State, Buffalo and a lot of Division 1AA schools. West Virginia, Davison, Northeastern and Boston College have asked for my transcripts."

Present Favorites

"I like Boston College and West Virginia. I was up at Boston College. I like those two a lot but I wouldn't call them my top two, it is just  that I know the most about those schools. I am wide open as to my choice of a school. The fact that Boston College is going to the ACC doesn't make much of difference to me. Right now you have the MAC conference winning more out of conference games than the Big 10. College football is up and down so the conference affiliations wouldn't make a big difference for me."

On Rutgers

"I have talked to them. They have told me that they would like to fit me into their program. I knew that they weren't in need of a linebacker. I don't' know their needs for a fullback. I could play either position. I like the coaches and they have been up front with me which I appreciate. I would definitely be interested in them."

This season:

"I had a 22 tackle game against Hightstown. That set our school record. I also had an interceptions, a sack and 4 or 5 tackles for a loss. Overall, I am doing well defensively, I need six tackles to get the school record for tackles in a season, the record is 117. I am averaging about 75 yards per game on offense. I am not getting as many carries but I am doing a lot more blocking and I am enjoying that. In fact, I love that. I would like to play fullback in college and open the lanes for the tailbacks."

Last year Brian was Player of the Week as a running back and as a linebacker by the Delaware Valley Chapter. He was First Team Linebacker All Conference by the Delaware Valley Chapter; First Team All Conference by the Trentonian and by the Trenton Times. He was also First Team All Area by the Trentonian and the Trenton Times and Third Team AP All State. Last season he had 110 tackles, 12-14 for a loss, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumbles recovered.

"I won an award for scholar athlete and I'll get the award next month at Hyatt in Princeton. My GPA is 3.5 and I had a 1220 in my SAT."
