We received this note from Dimitri with a summary of his HS career and some notes on the post season honors he has been getting.



"Junior- During my junior year I rushed for 1023 yards and received 481 passing yards. I also ended the season by scoring 16 touchdowns. I was the first individual since 1982 to rush for over a 1000 yards in Northeast History. I also Made Broward County's 2nd team offense behind Miami Hurricanes Tyrone Moss, Former Pompano Beach Ely's running-back.


Senior- I started off my senior year by making Broward County's Super 11. The first game of the season I rushed for 309 yards on only 17 carries and the following week I rushed for 298 yards on 24 carries. I made the Miami Dolphin's player of the week for nine of the ten weeks. I also Scored six touchdowns in a game and then three weeks later broke the county's record and tied the state of Florida's record by scoring eight touchdowns in a game. I rushed for 1764 yards and received 221 yards. For the season I scored 31 touchdowns which is a state record and I finished with 1764 yards which made me Broward County's 7th all-time leading rusher. I made Broward County's Player of the year. And I made 1st team offense. I also made all district and all county. I am now a nominee for All-State. I led all of South Florida in yards and touchdowns for the entire season. I was in front of Miami Killian's Bobby Washington, Hallandale's Leon Pennington, and South Dade Senior Charlie Jones. I also led the entire state of Florida in rushing up until week six. I finished the year as a Wendy's Heisman Nominee. I was invited to four all-star games. BCAA North vs. South, Nike Broward Vs. Dade, Florida Vs. Georgia, and nominee for Florida Vs. California."
