The Rutgers men's basketball team staged an impressive rally but fell short at the end. The Knights down by sixteen had the game down to a two point contest with only a half a minute in the game. The Knights ended up falling to Georgetown, 63-57. The game was the Big East opener for both teams. Rutgers was led by freshman Quincy Douby with 14 points. Georgetown improves to 10-0, 1-0 in the Big East. Rutgers is now 7-3, 0-1.
