Rutgers Basketball

Gone Dancing

Rumors and Various Odds and Ends...

Rutgers had been looking at Alan Metcalfe, a 6-9 native of England.  Several schools were in the running, according to Metcalfe, including Florida, Rutgers, Clemson and Vanderbilt.  At this time, Rutgers is no longer involved.

A new name for the 2005 class is Bryan Mullins a 6-foot, 170-pound PG out of Downers Grove South (Ill.) High School.  Purdue, Connecticut have scheduled in-school visits with Mullins.  Rutgers, Clemson, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and virtually the entire MAC conference are all heavily involved.

Mark Tyndale a 6-foot 4-inch, 205 pound swing forward from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, PA can nail it from mid-range or use dribble penetration to get to the hoop.  Temple, Rhode Island, LaSalle, St Bonaventure, St. Joe's, Providence, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Penn State, are all involved.
