Piscatway High School has produced a number of Divison IA prospects in the past 10 years. The school has sent players to schools such as Maryland, Miami, Boston College, and Rutgers. During the past two years, Rutgers has been able to reap the rewards for being in such close proximity to the school by landing freshmen sensation DeVraun Thompson. Piscataway has the most players from one school on the Rutgers roster. Piscataway has another Division IA prospect on their roster, who is attracting the attention of the Rutgers football staff. Malcolm Jenkins (DB/WR, 6'0"-180lbs, 4.45 forty)· Picataway H.S in Piscataway, New Jersey has the height, speed, and cover skills that Rutgers is looking for from their DBs.

Currently, he has an offer from the Scarlet Knights and is drawing a lot of attention from West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Virginia. He lists those schools as his favorites with Rutgers as his leader.

- Why is Rutgers your current leader?

He likes the fact that they are in his hometown and there are a number of his former teammates that are playing on the squad. He also likes the coaching staff and the direction of the program.

Due Penn Relays, he was unavailable to attend the Rutgers Spring Game. However, he had one of his best performances in the 4x400 with a 49.3 split time.

- What camps will you attend?

For camp, he will be attending the Rutgers and Ohio State camps. However, he will not attend any combines.

- When will he make a decision?

In Septemember, he will narrow his choices of schools. He is planning on making a decision at the end of the football season. For those schools recruiting him, he would like to play CB. However, he would not mind playing WR.
